Can you agree on the value of a coin?
Although the market ultimately determines what something should be worth, it is perfectly possible – as at festivals – to use tokens and to agree for those coins what they are worth at that festival.
In the same way, this also works on a local level, and there have already been examples that this can indeed work locally. So it is quite possible to agree on prices as a basis. Although the value – certainly in the initial phase where everyone still has to get used to – will still be adjusted quite often.
